Highlights are the internationally awarded short stop-motion animation films 'Red end and the Seemingly Symbiotic Society' (2009) and Red-end and the Factory Plant (2015), which he made together with Bethany de Forest. Now he is working on the feature 'Spur'.

2016 - the film 'Red-end and the Factory Plant': Award at the NCAIAF animation festival in Sapporo, Japan and an Honorable Mention for the Devour! Golden Tine Award for Best Animation in Canada, selected for the competition of Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival.

2015 - in competition for the Dutch Film Award 'Golden Calf' of the stop motion animation film 'Red-end and the Factory Plant'.

Robin Noorda studied in Amsterdam animation, graphic design, film and photography at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Rijks Academy of which he was thrown out. In the early eighties, he was a designer for the NOS, the Dutch broadcasting cooperation and the computer animation pioneer at Antics, the first CGI studio in the Netherlands. In 1986 he co-founded the art movement Tropism.eu and his media design company Morphosis. As an independent filmmaker, he makes stop-motion animations, shorts and documentaries. As an artist he is making interactive light installations and is an experimental photographer.
