From the moment I touched an instrument I was hooked.
It started with a slightly dramatic start on the keyboard (an instrument that was very hyped for a very short period), but just like with any hype: don't believe it!
In my experience, this instrument was so far removed from anything that had to do with "real" music making. Add to that a teacher who taught completely without imagination and me who never wanted to stay within the lines and instead of following the book with "keyboard classics",
I preferred to create my own music.
No, I wasn't interested in pursuing a career as a wedding singer
Enter the guitar
After a long negotiation with my parents, I was given permission to hang up the keyboard and pursue my true calling: playing guitar like Jimi and Kurt.
This turned out to be the only right choice and from the moment I got a guitar it hasn't left my side for a second.
A successful career as a guitarist for bands such as Postmen and Soulvation followed
Until I suffered a cerebral infarction in 2006 and became paralyzed on one side.
Guitar career down the drain...
But the fire and passion to create continued to burn.
I just had to find a new form.
Back to the white and black plastic of the keyboard, albeit this time on steroids, because fortunately you can go in many directions with software.
In addition to music, film is also a great interest of mine and now I saw the opportunity to bring the two together as a composer for media, because image without sound is also a kind of 'disabled', as it were, and just like my cane, it supports me every day and I want to make music that supports and strengthens the image in every possible way.
