Many young West Africans try to find a better life in Europe and leave their country. Some Africans realize happiness cannot be found in a foreign country. Salah is one of them. I am a professional filmmaker from the Netherlands with over 14 years international experience working in the audiovisual and communication field, both in the corporate and non-profit sector.
I am highly proficient in producing high quality videos for broadcast, cinema and exhibitions, but also I have wide experience producing communication productions for educational, campaigning and advocacy purposes in collaboration with international human rights and environmental organizations and in the field with grassroots people.
As an independent filmmaker I mainly focus on documentary film, with a main expertise in video editing.
In addition I fully enjoy my work as trainer video and journalist and I have trained many young media professionals in the Netherlands, Myanmar and in Haiti.
