I studied English literature and philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. During my studies I collaborated with young filmmakers, co-writing their screenplays. After getting his bachelors degree I started working in the Dutch film industry in different positions. I started out as an assistant editor for the off line edit of a feature film and later started working at the script development department of a major Dutch production company. All the while he remained co-writing on several projects. To further develop my screenwriting skills I applied for the MA Screenwriting at the LFS in 2012. After graduating I have remained collaborating with several LFS filmmaking students and graduate screenwriters. Aside from my UK activities, I also work in the Netherlands, forming a creative team with a Dutch/Iranian director. For me collaboration is the key to creative success and it is this aspect that draws me into film most.
