* "Mycelium" won the 2023 Red Ear, the jury prize for the best erotic short story in the Netherlands and Flanders. Organized by de Buren, Hard//Hoofd, and de Nieuwe Liefde.
* ANV Visser-Neerlandia Award for Best Screenplay in the Netherlands & Flanders 2020 for the feature film "Voortjagers"
* The screenplay for the short film "Tuinhuisje" reached the finals of the 2017 Editio Debutanten writing competition (under the pseudonym Suzy Quid).

Olga Ponjee is a screenwriter and amateur dressmaker, mason, furniture builder and drag king.
She co-wrote the series Feuten (2012), the feature film De Ontsnapping (2014), and won the ANV Visser-Neerlandia Prize for her screenplay Voortjagers (2020), the award for the best unfilmed script in the Netherlands and Flanders. The film Stairway to Earth, which she co-wrote with Finn Szumlas, recently received a production grant from the Netherlands Film Fund.
Besides screenplays, she writes rhymes about headstrong children for Gottmer. Her stories are about the joy of resistance and about people who learn to find strength in precisely what makes them different.
