As a child I wanted to be a detective. With my magnifying glass in one hand and binoculars in the other I would run around the world looking for a new mystery to solve. Over the years I exchanged my magnifying glass for a film camera and later my binoculars for a pen. The curiosity with which I used to search for mysteries gave way to a curiosity for stories.

In 2020 I graduated from the Writing for Performance program, with a study of the boundary between documentary and fiction. The power of both mediums has since played a major role in the stories I write. If you listen carefully, there are thousands of stories on the street that can be made tangible for a large audience with a touch of fiction. All human sides, good, bad, beautiful and ugly, may come to the fore in this.

In addition, I also have a great love for writing youth stories. Growing up in youth theater, I feel very much at home in writing for a younger target group. Where the imagination can still run wild and you can make difficult subjects tangible through stories.

After my bachelor's degree, I started a master's degree in Film Dramaturgy in 2023. Not only creating stories, but also coaching writers and developing films and series is something I find incredibly inspiring and fun to do.
