After obtaining my HAVO diploma, I started my education at Sint Lucas in Boxtel. After a very varied propaedeutic year and with a predilection for music and film, my choice for audiovisual and interactive design was quickly made. In the second year I did an internship at the AVRO, where we launched the digital theme channel Animal and Nature TV with a small team. For this, about five hours of new content had to be produced every week, which meant that we had to master all aspects of making television. I couldn't have wished for a better internship and completing my studies was no longer a problem at all.
After this I was selected for the V-Academy, Veronica's incubator where young media talents are trained to become cross-media professionals during a practical internship. There we organized the Radiobitches Awards 2009 in a short period of time, fully produced the Seeing Sounds and Walk to Fame programs and pitched our own format to an advisory board.
After this versatile internship, I started working as a video editor at Leo de Haas TV Productions BV. for the program 'Blik op de Weg'. Here I have experienced enormous development, especially in the field of image editing, promo production and offline and online editing. In addition, I am often involved in compiling episodes, building various websites and the Enforcers internet programme.
During this job I made the switch to Creative Animal, a post-production company for TV programs, video clips and commercials. Here I was mainly involved in media management of Talpa and the FIBT (international federation for skeleton and bobsleigh). In addition, I have done a lot of online editing for commercials and Talpa productions such as 'Echt Waar' and 'Ik hou van Holland'.
After this I started working as a video editor at 24Kitchen, the digital cooking channel in the Netherlands. Before and after the launch of the channel I edited many diverse studio programs, including Rudolph's Bakery, De Easy Meal, Grenzeloos Koken, Impress Your Friends and ENG programs such as Wat De Boer Niet Kent and De Volkstuin.
