After working for about 23 years as a successful visual artist, photographer and graphic designer, I finally exchanged the brushes for the camera around 2002, because I was looking for more dynamics/movement and depth. As an artist you are mainly visual, which comes in handy for me with a camera. In 2006 I founded Studio XLM. In the meantime I have made many productions of a diverse nature for both non-profit (including Altrecht, Abrona, OSA) and commercial (including Shell, OPLArchitecten, Ballast Nedam). Filmmaking is my passion and always striving for perfection. My preference is documentaries, company presentations, event registration, camjo, nature and travel reports, aerials, fun and challenging video and photography assignments, portraits, fashion, human rights/health, -social aspects... Cinematography, Videography, Photography , Aerial. I originally come from the visual arts. That makes me unique in this industry because I do not work according to a standard pattern and I am bursting with creativity. Assignments, whether it concerns camera work, editing, sound design or a total production from A to Z, are in good and trusted hands with me. Studio XLM is also the right place for writing journalistic articles and interviews (audio and/or video). In addition to making video productions, Rob Jansen is a seasoned photographer.
