Over the past decade, Gabriel has been involved in a wide range of cinematographic projects as the supervising sound editor, working closely with directors in the sound design and implementation of audio for various films. In 2015, he was awarded the prestigious “Ariel” prize for his work as sound editor on the film “Güeros”, directed by Alonso Ruizpalacios. More recently, he has just completed the sound editing for a documentary about the life and times of John Lydon (Public Image Limited & Sex Pistols), entitled, “The Public Image Is Rotten”, directed by Tabbert Fiiller.
