I graduated in Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. During my studies I studied indoor and outdoor sound recording techniques, sound design, synthesis, composition, space and acoustics.

As a freelance soundman/mixer I am hired for high-quality sound recordings. This can be for documentary, fiction, commercial, video art and music registrations. I also provide sound design and post-processing.

I enjoy working on projects with a high quality expectation and where substantive involvement is required. I own my own portable mixer/recorder (with timecode) and a professional (DAW) studio. I have affinity with political and social issues (e.g. self-sufficiency, sustainability and ecological thinking and acting).

I have an artistic background and I can contribute to the project in terms of content and concept.

I also work in the Muziekgebouw, the Royal Concertgebouw and the ITA (formerly Stadsschouwburg). I am involved in sound amplification/recording/registration/design of ensembles, theater companies, choirs or jazz/improvisation formations.
