about me
I am a fashion designer and work on my own label 'YOUKBYYOUKI' in which I want to distinguish myself by giving clothes an extra new function. In this I play on the 'back to basic' life, in which materialism is subordinate to fictionality.

I made costumes for 'Alice in Wonderland' from the theatre show of Studio 100. I also made the musical costumes for 'Shrek' for the theatre productions of Albert Verlinde.
I have experience as a dresser and continuity on set. I have dressed during theater shows and fashion shows in the Netherlands and London.

Now that I have graduated from the Arts & Crafts education at the Willem de Kooning academy in Rotterdam, I am looking for various freelance assignments. I can switch quickly and am therefore quickly trained. I would also be a nice active employee for a few days.

remarks
I pay attention to detail, due to my expertise in fashion. I think quickly and solve problems and am very creative. This also allows me to repair garments easily and well or develop designs in their entirety. I have a proactive attitude and am a very hard worker.

By following my 7 years of fashion studies at 3 different academies, I have followed a lot of art and costume history, because of this I know a lot about certain times and what people wore then. Styling for these times would be easy for me to do because of this.

At the moment I don't have a driver's license or a car. I would like to do jobs together with Martine Bastings, through her I ended up at Flikke Maastricht. She does have a car. :) Together we are a great team for jobs!
I do have a discount on the train, and I don't mind overnight stays. As long as they can be declared.

I think it would be fantastic to gain more experience this summer!

trackrecord
I was able to work on the set of Flikke Maastricht as a dresser for a few days. Here I took care of the continuity of the clothing on the set and checked whether the actors were wearing the right clothing. Also taking notes of how the clothing was and which sets everyone had was part of the work, as well as helping with dressing and receiving or guiding the actors. I really enjoyed this, which is why I am now looking for more experience.

For dance pieces I have gained more experience with styling. These were projects for Dansnest where I was challenged to the dancers, including children, adults and sometimes projects with mentally handicapped. I was given the assignment to come up with a matching atmosphere, with which I had to show a total picture with the dancers with the clothing.

For the photos on my website I did all the styling and composition myself. I do plan to do more with this. Photo styling is definitely within my qualifications. ;)

I have been a dresser for SpijkerenSpijkers in London and during theatre shows.
