I have been a freelance sports journalist for over fifteen years for various newspapers and magazines, mainly for AD Nieuwsmedia. I have also worked as a picture editor at Novum (sports). I also make many videos about the weather in the Netherlands and present them on my own YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheMichelBrands) and as a result I am now one of the most viewed and one of the best-known weather filmmakers/storm chasers in the Netherlands. I have just started a documentary about the tornadoes of June 25, 1967, which claimed two lives in Chaam in Brabant and five in Tricht in the Betuwe. This documentary will be released in the spring of 2015.

I have interviewed more than 1000 athletes and I always know how to come home with a nice story because of my natural feeling for people and my sincere interest. I usually quickly win someone's trust and often get good quotes. Interviews are not just about the packaging but also about the content! Furthermore, I am usually in the right place, have a good feeling for composition and can organize very well.
