about me
After completing my study (media) psychology, I worked as a web editor and item maker for the NCRV and the VPRO for five years. In 2008 I moved to Germany to study directing at the filmArche, an independent film school in Berlin. There I made three short films, the last of which, I'm Not Brave, screened internationally at 20 film festivals and won a number of awards, including the Best Student Award at the Zlín film festival in the Czech Republic. In 2013 I returned to the Netherlands and directed two youth documentaries. My documentary 'Losers - a film about loss' was screened at AFI Docs in Washington and won the evo Promotional Prize at the Kurzfilmtage in Oberhausen.
