about me In 2009 Jaap W. Sijben graduated with a Sound Design Bachelor at the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam. He works on production sound for documentary-, fiction-, advertisement- and music projects.
A title like Sonologist, Sound expert or engineer would fit his expertise.
He thrives best by unique projects which ask for substantive involvement and balanced mutual collaboration of departments. The audiovisual symbiosis will jump out of the framework!
He composed his recording equipment on the highest quality for feature cinema and has a portable documentary setup as well as a more extensive set for film sets.
He likes to work with anyone, anywhere, all over the world. Also Mud, cold, heat and square eyes motivate him.
