Michiel Boesveldt, NCE, is an award-winning film editor whose work balances rhythm, emotion, and storytelling. He edited I'm Not A Robot (2023), which went on to win the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2025.

With a portfolio spanning feature films, drama series, documentaries, and television, he is known for shaping stories in close collaboration with directors and producers, from the first rushes to the final sound mix. Trained at the Netherlands Film Academy, Michiel has since built a versatile career that reflects both craftsmanship and creative vision.

Based in Amsterdam, he is an active board member of the Netherlands Association of Cinema Editors (NCE), contributing to the development of the craft and community of film editing.
