AFTER EFFECTS is about Christian Fade, a 17 year old boy who is escaping from a institution. But he thinks when he escapes he can leave everything behind. But this is not so easy at all, as he now has a depression and a big trauma After Effects follows Christian Fade, a 17-year-old boy who manages to escape from an institution, convinced that once he gets out he can finally leave everything behind. But freedom is not the fresh start he imagined. Outside, he finds himself overwhelmed by depression and the weight of a deep trauma that refuses to let go. Escaping the institution is only the beginning; escaping what lives inside him is far more difficult. Throughout the film/play, a masked character appears repeatedly. Eventually, the masked figure forces Christian to commit suicide with pills. Only then does he realize that he is the masked character himself—and that the struggle was not about fighting himself, but about accepting himself.
