Description
Shot during the dismantlement of the refugee camp at Calais. We filmed with the unlikeliest couple of all –a Spanish ‘anstysistemic’ activist who has chosen to live at the camp and a Sudanese man who would rather be dead than remain in Europe, which he feels has been treating him like a criminal since he first set foot on the continent. Will he, a devout Muslim, marry her, a feminist atheist, in order to get his papers and be able to remain in Europe? It’s not so easy, we learn.
