We are making a short narrative film about a university lecturer who builds his course with the best intentions and slowly realises it is not working the way he hoped. It is a human story about teaching, design, and the moment when good intentions meet honest reflection.
The film is character-driven, dramatically structured, and pedagogically grounded. Not a lecture. Not a talking heads documentary. A real story, with real characters, told in a way that stays with you.
It will be used for teacher training at universities across the Netherlands for junior teachers finding their feet and experienced teachers ready to rethink their approach.
Target length is 12 minutes.

What do we offer?
Market conform renumeration. However we are on a tight budget and are pressed to work efficiently.
We will hand you a script that has been produced by the client. You will work from that.

Description
We are looking for a scriptwriter based in Amsterdam or willing to travel once or twice to Amsterdam for a session with the client, who can take an existing detailed draft script and develop it into a production-ready screenplay. You will ask us the right questions so we can deliver you the right information.
The client has already produced a draft script, so some foundation is there. Your job is to take that material and shape it into a production ready screenplay that is engaging, cinematic, and ready to turn into a shotlist.

Job requirements / profile
Experiences scriptwriting for fiction preferably educational videos. Fluently in English.
