Maktoub is a raw, intimate, and urgent short film, based on real experiences, about 13-year-old Anouar, who grows up in a violent home situation in Morocco and eventually decides to flee to Europe.

The film is being shot entirely in Morocco, where we are collaborating with some great line producers there: www.shoufou.film/nl. We will be shooting with a mix of Dutch and Moroccan crew (approximately 50/50).

What do we offer?
We work with a budget that allows us to put on a beautiful and professional production, but unfortunately, it is a budget that makes it difficult to cover reimbursements.

Flight tickets, accommodation, local transport, and catering are, of course, fully arranged.
In addition, reimbursement for sound equipment is possible.

Job requirements / profile
You have experience, speak English, and having your own equipment would be nice (we arrange a carnet / insurance for this), but it is not a requirement.
