We Share the Air follows three completely different people who do not know each other, but are all connected by the same person: David.

Yente is a young punk singer who screams out her emotions on stage, but feels lost in her own thoughts offstage. Henry is a painter who struggles with memories and a creative block. Rutger is an older man preparing for a farewell that he actually does not yet want to accept.

When these three people finally meet at David's funeral, it turns out that they have all been touched by the same person in their own way. In a quiet moment of shared loss, something unexpected emerges: a sense of connection.

The film shows how people, despite their differences in age, background, and stage of life, sometimes carry the same emotions without knowing it about each other.

Job requirements / profile
- Creative Sound Design & Editing: Designing, creating, and implementing sound effects (SFX), foley, ambiance, and other sonic elements to support the desired atmosphere and storytelling, with a focus on post-production creation.

- Audio Mixing & Mastering: Fully responsible for professional audio mixing, including dialogue editing, integration of music and sound effects, and creating a balanced, immersive final mix that meets broadcast or distribution standards.

- Collaboration & Translation of Vision: Work closely with the director and editor to understand their sonic vision and translate it into concrete audio concepts, and proactively incorporate feedback into the creative process.

- Expertise in Post-production Audio Tools: In-depth knowledge of and demonstrable experience with advanced Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, or similar, including a wide range of plug-ins for sound design, restoration, and mixing.

- Quality Assurance & Technical Specifications: Ensuring the highest sound quality and ensuring that all audio materials meet technical specifications and delivery deadlines, with attention to detail in the final production.
