Stichting Flevor is an independent non-profit film foundation based in Almere, Netherlands. Our mission is to support emerging creative talent and produce unique, genre-bending films in the Flevoland region. Our previous short film Una Volta (2024) was selected for prestigious international festivals including Imagine Film Festival (NL), Fantasporto (PT), FilmQuest (US) and Panic Fest (US), and received support from the Nederlands Filmfonds, Het Cultuurfonds, and Provincie Flevoland. Our current short film Friends is a surrealist fantasy/horror inspired by The Wizard of Oz, currently in post-production.
We are shooting a short promotional trailer for Friends, set to be released on YouTube. The concept: a British film researcher has discovered an obscure Eastern European film. You play that researcher. The trailer is shot on an ARRI camera but styled to look like a grainy 1990s documentary. Think VHS textures, talking-head energy, and a deadpan, slightly absurd tone.

Description
A male English-speaking actor with a natural, relaxed presence on camera. You'll be playing a British film researcher presenting his discovery. The role has a dry, slightly quirky feel and there is real room for improvisation, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable making the role their own.

Job requirements / profile
- Fluent English speaker (British accent a plus, but not required)
- Comfortable on camera in a documentary or interview style setting
- Open to improvisation within a loose framework
- Reliable, punctual and easy to work with on set
- Experience in film acting is a plus
