Here Lies Lola is a bold, character-driven dark comedy about grief and chosen family.
When Lola, a vibrant trans woman and performer, dies unexpectedly, her queer chosen
family refuses to let her be buried under her dead name. What follows is a chaotic,
funny, tender fight for dignity, memory, and the right to be remembered correctly.
We are specifically seeking performers with strong comedic instincts, sharp timing, and
emotional range. This film balances biting humour with raw vulnerability.
LGBTQIA+ performers are strongly encouraged to apply. Authentic casting is a priority.
