TITLE: A PROBLEM SHARED

SYNOPSIS:A woman, beset with personal issues (who isn't) reailses that faking it and putting on a brave face is no substitute for being vulnerable, open and honest.

The film opens with our hero on a video phone chat to a friend. The 'twist' begins when the English subtites don't translate what she's saying. She hangs up and walks off. The 'twist' goes deeper. The narrative device shows the Voice over crossing the 4th wall to become her inner voice. She argues with it, Insisting it says what she wants. When she crosses a line (she's rude to a homeless person) it becomes her oponent, crossing back over the 4th wall to become loud enough for people to actually hear, creating 3 embarassing mini-moments. This forces her to say her problems out loud as she rides up the escalator.

The film ends with the Voice over reverting back to being just a voice over.
