Try to Turn Around is an intimate, tragicomic father-son drama about regret, pride, and the inevitable march of time.
The film tells the story of Koen (86), who – now approaching his own end – travels across the Netherlands on a mobility scooter to visit the son he disowned 38 years ago. A small, clumsy but honest journey in which it slowly becomes clear that it is never too late to turn back.
The film is a project by third-year Film and Audiovisual Media students from the Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and is being made with a professional approach and ambition.

Description
For our short film Try to Turn We are looking for an actress (female, 25–40) for the role of a nurse.
The nurse is a calm, caring presence in Koen's life. She is confident, professional, and empathetic. Her role is small, but important in supporting Koen's physical and mental well-being.
We are looking for someone with a natural, credible presence who can convey warmth and reliability using minimal resources.
