Dear Sir/Madam,

For the Netherlands Film Academy Amsterdam's graduation film "Flesh Nor Fish," we are looking for children aged 7–13 to participate as extras in this short film. The film is being produced in collaboration with HUMAN broadcasting and will air on NPO 3 in the fall of 2026.

What do we offer?
In addition to travel expenses, we offer a unique, educational, and enjoyable experience on a film set. However, since this is a student production, we are unfortunately unable to offer further reimbursement due to budget constraints.

Description
We're making a coming-of-age film set at an athletics camp. The film tells the story of an eighteen-year-old boy struggling with the realization that he has pedophilic feelings and the impact this has on himself and his friendships. By following the perspective of a young adult struggling with shame, morality, and isolation, we aim to contribute to prevention, greater understanding, and awareness of this issue.

Important to emphasize:
– The children we are looking for play exclusively as extras.
– They are not part of this theme.
– There is no transgressive behavior in the scenes with children.
– We work in a professional, safe setting with clear child supervision.
– Participation is only possible with written permission from parents/guardians, who will be fully informed in advance.

Because the story takes place at an athletics camp, we're looking for children who enjoy athletics or other sports. Filming will take place at AV Castricum and in Austerlitz.
