I'm looking for someone to translate and subtitle my 21-minute Dutch-language film into English. It's a short documentary about the search for wonder (student production).

What do we offer?
Since it's a student production, I don't have much budget. I can offer you a compensation of €100 (excluding VAT).

Description
I'm looking for someone who can subtitle according to the Dutch Guidelines for Subtitling from the Dutch Authors' Union. That's the most important thing for me. Timing, spotting, design, etc., have to be perfect.

Job requirements / profile
Ideally, you already have some experience with subtitling short films or documentaries (not social media content).
- You speak fluent English and Dutch
- You translate the Dutch spoken text into English and subtitle it.
You must follow the Dutch Guidelines for Subtitling from the Dutch Copyright Association. Therefore, subtitling with AI is not permitted (unless you use it as a preliminary draft and then adjust it based on the guidelines).
We don't need to do a round of revisions. Once you send us the subtitles and we see that the subtitle guidelines are correct (and the English is correct), that's great!
