The Dialogue Editor will work with:
• A 1080p reference episode per episode (approx. 38–48 minutes)
• Reference videos will contain security watermarking, including the editor's name
• Original on-set sound shooting, delivered per episode and organized by scene only

The editor is fully responsible for reviewing all takes, selecting the best performances, professionally cleaning dialogue, and synchronizing all dialogue accurately to picture.

Job requirements / profile
ENGLISH

• Review all provided scene folders: The editor will receive all raw production audio organised per scene. Each scene folder contains all original takes for that scene.

• Select and clean the best dialogue: Carefully listen to all takes, select the cleanest and most natural performances, and professionally clean the dialogue, including the removal of noise, hiss and unwanted sounds between dialogue lines using appropriate plugins and tools.

• Ensure frame-accurate sync: All dialogue must be perfectly and frame-accurately synchronised to the provided 1080p reference video.

• Deliver as a single high-quality WAV file per episode: Provide one professionally finished, high-quality WAV file per episode that can be directly imported into an existing MAGIX Vegas Pro 20 timeline without additional syncing (PCM WAV, 24-bit / 48 kHz).

• Accept watermarked reference material: You will work with a 1080p reference video containing a semi-transparent watermark with your name for copyright and security protection.

• Deadline requirement: Upon accepting an episode, the Dialogue Editor agrees to a maximum delivery period of 4 weeks per episode. This deadline is strict due to fixed internal production schedules. Editors who cannot commit to this timeframe should not apply.

• Quality standard and approval: Delivered dialogue must meet professional broadcast-quality standards suitable for final post-production. Final approval and remaining payment are strictly quality-dependent.

• Payment terms: 50% payment upon assignment, 50% after final approval. Up to two revision rounds are allowed. If the delivery does not meet the agreed standard after the final revision, the remaining 50% will not be paid and the assignment will be awarded to another editor.

• Credits and rights: You will sign a contract assigning all necessary rights. Upon approval, you will receive credit in the film/series and on IMDb as Dialogue Editor.

• Future collaboration: In case of a good collaboration, more work will be available and there will be opportunities for further collaborations.

NEDERLANDS

• Beluister alle aangeleverde scène-mappen: De editor ontvangt alle ruwe set-audio, georganiseerd per scène. Elke map bevat alle originele takes voor die scène.

• Selecteer en schoon de beste dialoog op: Luister zorgvuldig naar alle takes, selecteer de meest natuurlijke en schone uitvoeringen en maak de dialoog professioneel schoon, inclusief het verwijderen van ruis, hiss en ongewenste geluiden tussen dialogen met geschikte plugins en tools.

• Zorg voor frame-accurate synchronisatie: Alle dialogen moeten perfect en frame-accurate synchroon lopen met de aangeleverde 1080p referentievideo.

• Lever één high-quality WAV-bestand per episode: Lever één professioneel afgewerkt WAV-bestand per episode aan dat direct kan worden geïmporteerd in een bestaande MAGIX Vegas Pro 20-timeline zonder extra synchronisatiewerk (PCM WAV, 24-bit / 48 kHz).

• Accepteer watermerk op referentiemateriaal: Je werkt met een 1080p-referentievideo met een half-transparant watermerk met jouw naam ter bescherming van het materiaal.

• Deadline-eis: Bij het aannemen van een episode gaat de Dialogue Editor akkoord met een maximale oplevertermijn van 4 weken per episode. Deze deadline is hard vanwege vaste interne productieschema’s. Editors die zich hier niet aan kunnen committeren, wordt verzocht niet te reageren.

• Kwaliteitsnorm en goedkeuring: De opgeleverde dialoog moet voldoen aan een professionele broadcast-kwaliteit die geschikt is voor verdere post-productie. Definitieve goedkeuring en resterende betaling zijn volledig afhankelijk van de kwaliteit.

• Betalingsvoorwaarden: 50% betaling bij aanvang, 50% na definitieve goedkeuring. Maximaal twee revisierondes toegestaan. Indien de oplevering na de laatste revisie niet voldoet aan de afgesproken standaard, wordt de resterende 50% niet uitbetaald en gaat de opdracht naar een andere editor.

• Credits en rechten: Je tekent een contract waarin alle benodigde rechten worden overgedragen. Na goedkeuring ontvang je credit in de film/serie en op IMDb als Dialogue Editor.

• Vervolgwerk: Bij goede samenwerking is er meer werk beschikbaar en zijn er ook andere samenwerkingsmogelijkheden.
