Synopsis:
Deadline a story about Ava, a hard-working student who works late nights at a bar to pay her way through school and help her mother financially. She has been accepted in a competitive criminal psychology program and awarded a full scholarship. This has been her dream for ages and could change her life positively. That scholarship means freedom. She can leave her energy draining job in the bar and focus entirely on her future.
But one morning after work, she wakes up and gets an anonymous phone call. A dark voice tells her that he knows everything about her. Her routines, her ambitions, even about that she killed someone with a car accident and drove away. A secret that she kept for years. The voice gives her a deadline. She needs to kill the friend who drove the car, by Friday, or her secret will be exposed. Her world begins to crumble, she wants to resist, but the voice knows too much. Her sense of morality clashes with her fear of losing everything she worked so hard for. As days pass, she decides to go through with it. But by the time she finds Alex, the truth twists again. He got the same message. What began as blackmail is now a game of revenge and guilt. Arranged by someone who lost everything in the car crash they desperately tried to forget.
