Job requirements / profile
Profile Assistant Director School Musical:

Core role: Supporting person for the director who assists with preparation, rehearsals and execution of a 20-minute production.

Desired features:
Experience & knowledge: Basic knowledge of theater/musical practice is helpful, but enthusiasm is more important than experience. Someone who has previously worked with the performing arts as a volunteer or in an educational setting is ideal.

Personality: Organized, flexible, and calm under pressure. The assistant director must be able to communicate well with young people, be attentive to detail, and collaborate constructively with the director. Patience and positive energy are essential.

Practical skills: Ability to take good notes (rehearsal notes), coordinate rehearsals, assist with costume/set organization, guide actors, and understand technical basics (lighting, sound).

Motivation: This could be someone with an artistic background who wants to support arts education for young people, or someone who dreams of working in theatre later in life.

Availability: From now until premiere (March 2026), including rehearsal weekends and technical rehearsal.
