As part of my Creative Business program at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, I'm working in a small group on a collaborative project focusing on youth culture. Our project is designed as if it were being produced for the broadcaster KRO-NCRV, which serves as our client in this context. Within this group project, we are developing a short film that explores current themes and issues among young people, aiming to both inform and engage. The target audience: Dutch young people aged 17 to 20.

What do we offer?
This project is a school assignment, so unfortunately, no compensation is available. However, I will provide a fun and educational shoot, and of course, the footage afterward, adding to your portfolio.

Description
For the role of Kim, the main character, I'm looking for a female actress between 18 and 20 who can empathize with a young girl struggling with her identity, social pressure, and emotions. Kim is vulnerable, but also resilient, and it's important that the actress can convey this subtly.

In addition, I am looking for two friends of Kim, girls aged 18-20, who supposedly support her, but actually act strangely after Kim (main character) arrives from Cape Town.

For the role of Kim's mother, I'm looking for a woman in her 40s and 50s who can radiate warmth and authority and who can show the complex mother-daughter relationship.

Finally, two girls, also aged 17-19, bully Kim, who illustrate the tension and social pressure surrounding Kim. These roles require strong actresses who can convincingly portray the dynamics of a bullying group.
