For a very nice Dutch dramafilm we are looking for a sound operator/sound technican with your own shotgun (boom) microphone and/or lavalier microphones. The quality of the sound need to be good without noise. The equipment need connect with the camera of our camera operator.

Our Project:

A film about resilience, rejection, and self-acceptance. Fien is different. Unique. She lives with MCDD, a complex form of autism that sometimes overwhelms her thoughts like a storm. In the late 1990s, after a traumatic event, Fien is admitted to a youth institution. What follows is not a standard coming-of-age story this is the raw, tender, artistic portrait of a child searching for a place in a world that does not always understand her. She encounters rejection. Bullying. But also unexpected friendship. Through various time periods, we follow Fien's life journey her struggle to be herself, to be seen, to find light in the darkness despite her 'extra baggage.' Sometimes heart-wrenching, sometimes touching, and occasionally with a touch of humor that makes her unique. Why this film? Because there are so many children and adults like Fien people with differently functioning brains who do not fit the standard mold. This film gives them a face, a voice, a story. It is an ode to the outsider. A mirror for a society that still struggles with 'difference.' Your help makes this possible. The film unfolds across various time periods in Fien's life, where she struggles with self-acceptance and the desire to be seen by a world that has no sympathy for her.

Its a unpaid internship but you get a very nice experience for a beautiful filmproject in your sound portfolio.

Job requirements / profile
- Learning, but experience in filmsound for dramafilms, thriller,
- Understanding at least the basic technical aspects of filmsound design
- Know how to remove noise and make filmsound synchronously without any glitches
- Experience with boom (shotgun) microphones and lavalier
