We are shooting a short film called "Film: Zwart voor mijn Ogen - Het Portret van Fien" directed by Iris Boersma.
Fien is unique: she lives with MCDD, a complex form of autism that can flood her mind like a storm.
In the late 90s, after a life-changing event, Fien is placed in a youth care institution.

This short film is based on a true story and it is a tender and artistic portrait of a child searching for her place in a world that doesn't always understand her. She faces rejection, bullying, but also: unexpected friendship.

What do we offer?

Description
We are looking for two members of the crew:
THE 31ST AUGUST:
- A camera operator: we are looking for a camera operator that can help us shoot the trailer, just this day. From 7:00 until 16:00 or from 9:00 until 18:00 maximum at the old technical school Vesterbos 2 in Zevenaar (Gelderland).

FROM NOVEMBER:
- A Van Driver: we are looking for a large van (and someone who can drive it, if possible) to help us transport set materials (chairs, tables and other set decors). The shooting will take place on all Saturdays and Sundays throughout November, starting from November 1st.

Job requirements / profile
- Have your own camera;
- Basic camera knowledge able to operate the camera, adjust main settings;
- Framing and composition: maintain consistency with the visual style of the project and being able to frame a basic shot;
- Handling video files: off load footage and label clips;
- Reliability and punctuality;
- Teamwork;
- Passion and eagerness to learn;

Language requirements
English and Dutch (it's a plus)
