Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sound Mixer to manage and capture all production audio on set for an upcoming short film. You will work closely with the director and cinematographer to ensure high-quality location sound, including dialogue, ambient sounds, and sync audio for post-production.

Job requirements / profile
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor all sound recording equipment during filming
Capture clear, isolated dialogue and ambient sound
Manage multiple audio inputs (boom mic, lavaliers, etc.)
Monitor for unwanted noise or disruptions during takes
Maintain clean and organized audio files for post-production
Provide sound reports and/or labeled audio files after each shoot day



Preferred (but not mandatory):

Own professional sound gear (e.g., mixer/recorder, boom mic, wireless lavs)
Experience with indie/narrative film production
Familiarity with post-production sound workflow
