In 2023 I graduated from the HKU with the short film Silent Waters. The film is set in former Yugoslavia and tells a story about war, from the perspective of a Bosnian father who wants to protect his daughter Lejla from the looming ethnic conflict. The film has been shown at various film festivals and won, among others, the NPO Fiction Talent Award at the NFF.

I discovered that there is still a very important new story to tell within this context. That is why I have been working on two new short films since then to form a triptych with Silent Waters around the character Lejla. The shooting will take place in the Netherlands and Bosnia.

What do we offer?
There are already several interesting and relevant parties and people involved in the project who can support and/or co-produce its realization, so there are already many tools to help us on our way! Together with the producer I will develop a strategy for financing and realization.
