Virtue supports young people to reflect more consciously on their identity and beliefs. By watching fictional films about themes such as beliefs, loyalty and friendship, young people are challenged to enter into an accessible conversation with each other about what drives them. These conversations stimulate the development of resilience and resilience: learning to deal with differences and uncertainty – without losing your own values – and learning to think and act critically. It is about learning to resist extremist influences, both on a cognitive, emotional and behavioural level. The films and conversations show that you can fall, but also get up again, and that your story is valuable – regardless of where you come from.

The Virtue platform offers a safe and accessible place for young people to continue these conversations, also outside their immediate environment. Through (informative) videos, statements and dialogue spaces they can come into contact with other young people, share opinions, ask questions and feel heard. We believe that it is powerful to allow doubts and change. Through the films and the online conversations new perspectives arise that help to understand yourself and others better. In this way Virtue contributes to a stronger, authentic identity that offers space for growth and connection.

What do we offer?
In addition to a very enjoyable 5 days on set, many experiences, a great location, enthusiastic crew, deep conversations, fun evenings and a "red carpet" premiere, you are working on a large social project for which we want to draw a lot of attention. Because it is a low budget graduation project, we unfortunately cannot offer other compensation, but we are busy getting the financing for travel expenses and catering. It is possible to stay overnight, especially because there are a number of late night scenes. We see it as a mini-vacation where we can do what we like most: filming!

Besides five incredibly fun days on set, lots of new experiences, a great location, an enthusiastic crew, deep conversations, cozy evenings, and a red carpet premiere, you'll be contributing to a major social project that we want to draw real attention to.

Because this is a low-budget graduation project, unfortunately, we're not able to offer additional payment. However, we are actively working on securing funding to cover travel costs and catering.

It's possible to stay overnight, especially since some scenes will be filmed in the late evening.

We see it as a mini holiday where we do what we love most: making films!

Do you want to tell part of your own story as an actor? For our graduation project Virtue we are looking for actors between the ages of 16 and 22 (playing age 16-18) who want to share their view on life. Whether this is a religion or a philosophy, you are open to other religions and beliefs. If you do not adhere to a religion or philosophy, but the subject seems interesting to you? Then we would also like to see you audition. It is an advantage if you can speak/understand English fluently.

In addition to the film, we are setting up a platform for interviews where you can share your own perspective on life. And of course you will be invited to the "red carpet" premiere in Leeuwarden in October.

In addition to actors, we are also looking for young people who want to share their view on life for short interviews that will be recorded in September, location and date in consultation and will be posted on our social media channels.

For our graduation project Virtue, we're looking for actors between the ages of 16 and 22 (playing age 16 - 18) who are open to sharing their personal views on life. Whether you follow a religion or have a life philosophy, what matters is that you're open to hearing and respecting other beliefs and perspectives too. Even if you don't follow any particular belief system but find the topic meaningful, we'd still love to see you audition. Being fluent in English is a plus.

In addition to the film, we're launching a platform where interviews will be shared, giving you the chance to express your own view on life. And of course, you'll be invited to the red carpet premiere in Leeuwarden this October.

We're also looking for young people who want to share their vision of life through short interviews, which will be filmed in September (exact date and location in consultation) and posted on our social media channels.
