Synopsis:
Teenager Pete, living with his kind but struggling uncle Sandy, overhears a phone call revealing Sandy’s financial hardship caused by paying for Pete’s college. Determined to help, Pete tries to find a job but faces constant rejection. Desperate, he accepts a shady delivery job from a street hustler named Jerry.
Though the deal earns Pete some fast cash, the sketchy circumstances push him further— a high stakes underground poker game where he uses his spider-sense to win big. He gives the money to Sandy, hoping to ease the burden, but the consequences are rapid and brutal: Sandy is attacked by those Pete unknowingly stole from.
Peter feels guilty and realizes he can't escape responsibility. The final scene shows him staring into the the void, his Spider-Man gear in the back of the room, as we see revenge forming in his gaze.
