For a documentary yet to be made in which old photos are brought to life, we are looking for a creative and technically strong AI Specialist. You will play a key role in visually reconstructing historical scenes and helping to shape the look & feel of the documentary.

The project is currently in the development phase and offers room for personal input and creative collaboration.

Are you an AI expert with a passion for image editing and historical reconstructions?
We are looking for a specialist who can bring old photographs to life by realistically reconstructing entire scenes — for a new documentary currently in development.

Job requirements / profile
- Experience with AI techniques such as image restoration, super-resolution, inpainting, colorization and generative models (GANs, Diffusion Models).
- Proficiency with programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Topaz AI, RunwayML, or similar AI-driven platforms.
- Understanding of historical imaging and reconstruction.
- Creative and able to develop realistic reconstructions from minimal source materials.
- Experience in data processing and structuring old images.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make technical concepts accessible to non-technical team members.
- Independent, proactive and focused on cooperation.
- Preferably living in (the vicinity of) Rotterdam.

Pre
- Experience in film, documentary or media production.
- Affinity with history and visual storytelling.
