Roos is directing her graduation film, for the DFA in Eindhoven! We are now busy with the casting process for the film (10-12min, in Dutch). You can find more information about the project here below:

Working Title - We Delen De Lucht
We follow three totally different people with totally different lives. We see some of the hardships they have to endure and how they go about life. At first glance we don’t know what these people all have in common, but towards the end we find out they all come together at the funeral of a man they all had a good relationship with.

What do we offer?
Since it's a student project, no formal payment can be offered. However, catering, footage for portfolio and good connections are guaranteed!

Description
We are looking to fill 4 different roles. No specific requirements regarding physical features were given, but it is important that the actors can look the ages specified for the character. More information about each of them can be found here (in Dutch):

Kiran (16)
Kiran is in a bad home situation, his parents argue all day long and there is no moment of peace. He tries to avoid the situations that occur as much as possible and does not seek confrontation himself. Yet he cannot escape the fact that he is drawn into the situation again and again. Despite all this, he remains motivated for school, one of the places where he likes to be the most.

Adam (35 - 45)
Adam is truly a world traveler. He gets his ultimate satisfaction from the adventures he seeks out, nothing is too crazy or strange for him. Adam seeks confrontation in order to be able to live, but when he is confronted by something that is close to him, his emotions suddenly become too much for him. Yet he does his best to master the emotions that are unknown to him, even if it is only for a short moment.

Mrs. de Kooy (65 - 75)
Mrs. de Kooy is a quiet woman, who doesn't really seem to notice what's going on around her. She notices that things are happening, but before she seems to realize what those things are exactly, the world around her has already moved ten steps ahead. There is a certain slowness in her thinking and doing, which the world around her doesn't seem to understand. She seems to slowly notice that life is going very fast, sometimes a little too fast.

Care provider (25 - 30)
The caregiver is a goal-oriented woman who knows exactly what she wants. Her work is her number one priority, and she even seems to have forgotten that her work involves providing care. There is a certain speed and agility in her actions, which seems to disturb the peace in her environment.
