At Wald Studios, we're seeking a creative and visionary Volunteer Art Director to help shape the visual narrative of our current film project, Goya. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about film and design to gain hands-on experience and contribute to an innovative, emotion-driven project.

Goya is our latest film project, drawing inspiration from the evocative works of Francisco Goya. This visually intense and thought-provoking film delves into themes of darkness, beauty, and human emotion.

The project is being brought to life by a talented production team, including:
Alejo Maglio – Director of Photography, known for his work on critically acclaimed films and commercials. With a keen eye for cinematography, Alejo has worked on major productions across Europe and Latin America, bringing a cinematic depth that enhances storytelling. His work has been showcased at international film festivals, earning praise for its artistic vision and technical excellence.

Job requirements / profile
Visual Concept Development: Collaborate with the director, cinematographer, and production team to develop and refine the artistic vision for Goya.
Set and Prop Design: Oversee the design and implementation of set designs, props, and overall aesthetic elements that capture the film’s themes of darkness, beauty, and human emotion.
Creative Collaboration: Work closely with other departments—such as costume design and cinematography—to ensure visual consistency across all production stages.
Pre-Production Planning: Contribute to storyboarding and visual reference creation, helping to set the tone and style for the project.
On-Set Supervision: Assist in maintaining the artistic direction during shooting, making real-time decisions to enhance the visual impact.
