Description
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team of twelve sound and video technicians. The AVM department produces audio and video content for the Dutch National Opera & Ballet. This content includes multi-camera shooting of complete performances, trailers and films about the production process of performances, films about our artists and employees, radio broadcasts and podcasts, audio and video commercials and archive shooting.

The main responsibility of the AV coordinator is to organize the technical side of the production process of video and audio content. You guide this process from creation and production to post-production and broadcasting. In consultation with the various creative teams, you put together the most suitable crew, arrange the right (broadcast) equipment and resources, make the planning and organize the post-production in order to achieve the best results.

We believe it is important that you have knowledge of audio, video and broadcast equipment, various audio and video formats and that you are familiar with video and audio editing software and (post)production planning and processes. You are the discussion partner with our clients in the field of the content to be produced and their issues. You do not have to come up with the directing concepts yourself, but we do believe it is important that you have a great affinity with this phase and that you can spar well about this with our creative teams.

What do we ask:
- a relevant HBO or WO education in media or film production or demonstrable equivalent and for this
function relevant knowledge;
- minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
- good overview of often complex schedules and timetables;
- collegial, enthusiastic, solution-oriented and stress-resistant;
- customer-oriented and strong communication skills;
- good knowledge of the English language.
