Eye Film Museum
Eye is the only film museum in the Netherlands and a treasurer, pioneer and guide in the world of film and the art of the moving image. The museum manages an international collection of more than 55,000 films and creates leading exhibitions on film and visual arts. Eye shows film in all its diversity and, in collaboration with the film sector, promotes Dutch film at home and abroad. With educational programs, Eye stimulates the understanding of and love for film, in collaboration with education and the film industry.

Technical Producer

for a minimum of 21.6 and a maximum of 36 hours per week (0.6 – 1.0 FTE)

Operations Department
The Operations team consists of approximately 16 film fanatics in the film projection, who are good at working together. They are critical of themselves and each other, always respecting each other's professionalism. They work with concentration and put things into perspective with humor.

This concerns a position for a minimum of 21.6 and a maximum of 36 hours per week (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) for a period of 12 months, with the prospect of extension. The salary is in accordance with the Eye Employment Conditions Regulations (scale 9: min. € 3346, - and max. € 4348, - gross per month based on 36 hours, excl. 8 percent holiday pay and 3.4 percent end-of-year bonus).

Job requirements / profile
Tasks and responsibilities
• Independently planning and organizing the technical production of a film program or event in collaboration with the Programming, Production, Education, Communication and Sales & Events departments;
• independently planning and organizing productions in collaboration with programmers, curators, producers and communications managers;
• inventory of technical requirements, the required deployment of technical personnel and the hiring of equipment;
• technically preparing special performances and (media) productions of the Operations department and third parties;
• making, developing and monitoring agreements with external parties for the purpose of technical production or media production;
• drawing up cost estimates and work budgets for the technology of film programs, events and media productions.

Your profile
• Extensive experience in a similar position in the audiovisual industry;
• technical knowledge of hardware such as sound and light tables, video cameras and projectors, scalers and media equipment, such as iMacs;
• knowledge of software such as Adobe Première, Adobe Photoshop, Encoder, DCP-O-Matic, Easy DCP player and Capture & Rip software;
• experience and knowledge in the field of streaming and video editing;
• knowledge of audio and video formats;
• team player who can delegate well and radiates confidence;
• available to work weekends and evenings.
