For HKU graduation film Kick Start we are looking for a producer who wants to help us with this project. Kick Start is a coming of age film that takes place in the rough 60s of The Hague, in the film the themes brotherhood, self-esteem and Rock and Roll are discussed.

Logline: In the pillarized 1960s of The Hague, we follow the coming of age journey of 14-year-old Ronnie who escapes from his pillarized home situation via his brother, by joining the youth gangs of The Hague. As he plunges into the world of rock and roll music and rival nozem gangs, Ronnie not only rekindles the strong bond with his brother, but he also learns how difficult it is to set your own boundaries, lessons about growing up, identity and the challenges of growing up in a turbulent era.

Description
We are urgently looking for a driven and enthusiastic producer who feels that he or she fits this project. You will work intensively with direction and various departments to prepare the production. This means that you will draw up schedules, work out a budget, put together a crew, arrange locations, and coordinate with departments such as set design and costumes. You will also support with subsidy applications and be responsible for the management on set.
