On April 1st or 7th (date to be determined) a live videoclip recording will take place in the iconic main hall of Luxor Live (Arnhem) for the indie/alternative artist Cloud Cukkoo, together with her live band. During this session two (and if time permits three) songs will be recorded both visually and audibly.

The goal of this recording is to create a convincing live video clip that will be used on the one hand to promote the new songs of Cloud Cukkoo's upcoming album and on the other hand to convince bookers at home and abroad of her live performance. The result should be a powerful representation of her new music and live band, where both the sound and the visual presentation reinforce each other.

What do we offer?
There is no budget available for this project. Cloud Cukkoo is a starting artist who won the recording day in Luxor through a contest and because she is also a poor maker (and does not gain any financial profit from this project), no financial compensation can be offered. That is super annoying to have to ask, but Cloud Cukkoo is in the same financial situation as many of the makers she is looking for for this project.

What is offered is a chance to work with a passionate team to create a valuable creative project. Cloud Cukkoo will do everything in its power to credit everyone where possible and bring the video to the attention of the right platforms so that everyone will benefit from it in the end.

Description
We are looking for an art director or director who can think along with us about how the different songs can be best visualized. Ideally, we work with three different songs, each with a different vibe and therefore presented in unique ways. We have the large hall of Luxor at our disposal, with the beautiful illuminated ceiling in different colors. In addition, we have the Luxor technicians at our disposal all day, which offers us many possibilities. We would like to investigate what is possible in terms of decor, whether we want to hang or insert elements, what we can do in terms of setting and how we can make the visual presentation as captivating as possible.

In addition, we are looking for a cinematographer / DOP who can work with our art director or director to capture this vision and optimally translate the atmosphere and energy of the live performance into images.

- Experience in creating visual concepts for music videos or live shooting
- Strong in coming up with creative ideas that fit different music styles and atmospheres
- Knowledge of light, colour and space to utilise the full potential of the room and decor
- Able to work with a team and lead the creative process

Cinematographer / DOP (Director of Photography)

Job requirements:
- Experience in filming live performances or music videos
- Knowledge of composition and lighting
- Able to collaborate with an art director/director to translate the creative vision into images
- Familiar with working in a dynamic live setting and quickly adapting to different visual and technical requirements
