We are looking for two actors who want to participate in a small-scale student production of the Dutch Academy of Visual Arts! The film contains themes such as grief, life and death, self-love and gender and can be a fun and meaningful challenge.

After a life of failed relationships, young adult Lou feels deeply lonely. She seeks contact with the one person who is supposed to understand her; her prenatally deceased twin brother, Felix. Lou succeeds in summoning Felix from the afterlife, but the two do not get along well. Lou is blinded by her desperation to gain Felix's approval and Felix in turn does not understand why Lou values him so much when they do not know each other. Lou must learn to love herself and stop projecting her ideals onto Felix in order to let him go and take control of her own life.

Description
We are looking for two actors:

1: Lou (circa 24, F/X), an alternative young woman, with an interest in the occult and supernatural.

Lou and Felix start out as twins, but Felix dies during pregnancy. Lou lives the rest of her life with a hole in her heart that she tries to fill with people she wants approval from. The dissatisfaction in this area of her life makes her feel empty and loveless and she is afraid that this will be the case for the rest of her life. She thinks that what she needs in her life is approval from someone else, but in fact she should learn to love herself and accept that she alone is responsible for her own future.

2: Felix (circa 24, M/X), an uninterested and somewhat intimidating young man who appears to Lou as she wants him to be; incredibly cool and grunge.

After his untimely death, Felix has become a top employee in the underworld and his non-life consists of fulfilling devil's pacts. However, being called up is different from living; a combination of being dead and never having lived has left Felix apathetic and his work all he knows. He fails to see why the blood bond between him and Lou has any inherent value if they have never known each other and is irritated by Lou's delusion.
