Dear...,

My name is Ghislaine van der Stroom and I am currently recording a stop motion film together with 4 other classmates. We are at school at the 'St. Joost' in Den Bosch, part of the Avans University of Applied Sciences. This will be a fairy tale based on the old Dutch fable the 'white women' from the East of the Netherlands (specifically Rijssen). We tell a (fiction) version of this phenomenon and do this by means of a self-made set, attributes, puppets etc. For our story we wanted to use a general narrator who can calmly guide the viewer through the story.

In a film of about 5 to 6 minutes you expect to have to record about an A4 of text, but it is very clear!
The story is about a white woman who stretches the threads of fate in the forest. She does this every day with great deliberation. Until one day a hunter in the forest decides to go off his path, hunting and with greed in his pocket he loses his prey and gets tangled up. Now he is in the white woman part of the forest... The voice that will lead us through it will also be the white woman herself as a plot twist.

We will complete our project around the end of January.

What do we offer?
We fight hard on this student film and besides that we don't have much to offer but, we are a group of good people who pay with all their love for the food or travel expenses. Besides that you get a spot in our credits and the great role of our beautiful and intelligent white woman!

Description
We are looking for a mature woman who can read the script for us. It is important that it is or seems like an older voice. That there is an oriental accent (so someone who can imitate that or really comes from the east of the Netherlands). We would like it because we really want to make a fairy tale in an old-fashioned/classical style, that we can do something with old-Dutch. as an example; not seven (7) but 'zeuven'. Not lope but lopen.

In terms of travel there are a number of options; we are in Den Bosch and that is quite far away, especially if we find someone who actually lives in the east of the Netherlands, so;
or we do it all online (rather than someone who is already experienced with recording equipment/recording)
or we meet each other halfway (think of Utrecht/Rotterdam/Amsterdam)
or if there is time we can send 2 men from one group your way.

Language requirements
Dutch is sufficient (preferably old Dutch)
