I am Kilian Brons, working as an assistant director for many films and series, I also write and direct my own productions. For example, this year I directed a series for NPO 3 in collaboration with the NTR that will be released around March 2025.

I am currently working with a great team of professional filmmakers on a short First World War film about the death wire. A page from Belgian-Dutch history that is barely known in the Netherlands. Our short film focuses mainly on the human side and the impact the wire had on the residents. The film is not only a story about an often forgotten piece of history, but also a reflection on contemporary issues around borders and division. In a world where more and more physical and symbolic borders are being erected and where refugee flows and migration are an increasingly prominent theme in the social debate, this film invites us to reflect on the importance of connection and compassion.

What do we offer?
It is a low budget film, we are still in talks with some funds but it will not be a generous enough budget to pay crew and cast a fee. We do offer an expense allowance.

It is truly a passion project, our aim with an experienced professional crew is to get the production value as high as possible. And to create an end result that provides a beautiful portfolio for everyone.
