We are looking for an actress for the second-year HKU film 'Mistig'!

Mistig is a short, poetic film about loneliness in the modern world and the search for connection. Nora, the protagonist of the film, lives in a busy, overcrowded modern city but feels disconnected from her surroundings, both her parents and her friends. In an attempt to find peace, Nora leaves for a high mountain range, where she comes to the realization that true peace comes from within. Nature invites her to listen and feel, and helps her find the way to connection. In this way, we hope to make our viewer think about their place in the world and reaching out to others.

We are looking for an actress (24 - 30 years) for Nora! Experience is not a must, we are mainly looking for someone with an affinity for the subject!

Nora is a driven, social woman in her late twenties who seemingly has everything in order: a good job, a nice apartment and a social life. But inside she struggles with a deep sense of loneliness and disconnection. She rationalizes many of her emotions, which makes it difficult to open up and make real connections, both with others and with herself. Her contacts with her parents, who live far away, and with friends remain superficial. Although she admires people who effortlessly form deep friendships, she herself remains reserved, which is why few know her true feelings.
