Hello everyone! My name is Dalila, and I am a film student at SAE Amsterdam! I am currently working on a short film, called 'It'll Pass'. 'It'll Pass' is a remake inspired by the “Fleabag” series by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. This project explores the option in which the Priest does end up choosing Fleabag and the consequences of that choice.

The shooting days are set to be 25th and 26th of November (with the chance to rehearse one day somewhere prior to the shooting days)

A key difference from the original screenplay is represented by the fact that the Priest is the one who breaks the fourth wall, talking to the camera (God) and relying on it to navigate his life. As the Priest is sitting in a cozy café, years later his final goodbye with Renee (Fleabag), he finds himself face-to-face with the woman he once loved and her new partner and is transported by memories and the echo of a question: "what if?" The short film is approx. 8 minutes long and is entirely in English.

What do we offer?
Since this is a student production I am unfortunately unable to monetary compensation for the crew/cast. However, you will be given drinks, coffee, and food throughout the shooting days and will be welcomed by an amazing crew :).

-I am open to discuss a possible compensation for travel costs (within a reasonable range).

I am *urgently* looking to fill 1 role:

THE PRIEST - LEAD MALE
A complex character wrestling with his internal conflict between his devotion to God and the pull of human connection and love.
- Age between 25-35
- Can cry on command (not a must, but definitely a big plus!)
-Is comfortable in playing the role of a priest.
-Must be able to break the fourth wall, showing ability to engage with the audience
-Is comfortable in shooting one day until 11 pm
- Shooting days 2
- Able to memorise long dialogue and strong dialogue delivery
