Interlinked is a visually driven, intense neo-noir short film inspired by the Blade Runner universe, centered around K, a replicant, and his emotional turmoil as he faces making a tough choice between saving a female replicant he once loved or obeying his orders as a Blade Runner. Set in a bleak, rain-soaked future Los Angeles, Interlinked explores themes of identity, autonomy, and humanity within a visually striking, dystopian world. Dark streets, fog, and shadowy architecture contrast with emotionally charged interactions, highlighting the tension between duty and empathy.

What do we offer?
The opportunity to meet and collaborate with a well connected Film Institution in order to build portfolio, network and experience. Exposure to a young, motivated campus of potential futurte collaborators. On rehersal and shooting days, meals, snacks and beverages will be provided as well as compensation for any intercity travel via NS. Last but not least, If you are a Sci-fi entheusiest like myself, the exciting opportunity to be involved in the production of an exciting Blade Runner adaptation.

Description
Female Replicant (Female, 20s, any ethnicity):
A delicate and innocent-looking female replicant on the run, bloodied and bruised but resilient. Despite her fragile appearance, she has an intensity that captivates K and ultimately reveals a shared past of love and connection. Must have strong emotional range to convey both fear and deep connection. This role requires vulnerability and strength.

The Interrogator (Male, 40s to 50s, Caucasian):
A cold, detached LAPD interrogator responsible for assessing K’s emotional stability. He has a hollow-cheeked, piercing gaze, exuding an intimidating “big brother” presence as he monitors K’s responses. This character is ruthless, calculating, and devoid of empathy, committed to keeping order in this dystopian society. Think a high-ranking bureaucrat with a sinister undertone.v
