Hi! We are Ammie and Mila. We are 17 years old and in the sixth grade of the 4th Gymnasium. As in all schools, we as sixth graders have to write a profile paper. Over the past year, we have investigated, through the psychoanalysis of Sigmund Freud, how a transgenerational trauma arises unconsciously, is passed on unconsciously and how you can break that cycle. In addition to a report, we have also processed our research into a play and we are looking for actresses for that! In the play, three generations of women from a family go to their family home in Austria. It is a home with many stories, and you notice that especially in the first generation. She is a closed, hardened and easily irritated woman. She is the generation that experienced the trauma. Because she hardly shares anything, even her own daughter hardly knows her. In her life she has made several attempts to talk to her mother, but that was sternly rejected every time. In the meantime she has given up and tries to behave as well as possible with her mother. She fulfills the carrying force of the trauma. The relationship she does not have with her mother, she does have with her own daughter. A 12-year-old girl who is completely in her discovery phase. She is incredibly curious, and also about her own family. She is therefore the beginning of the conversation with her grandmother and mother.
